About me
Konstantin was born in Hamburg, Germany. The son of the world known pianist, conductor, TV host and festival founder, Prof. Justus Frantz and the star violinist Ksenia Dubrovskaya, was interested in classical music at an early age. Konstantin has been taking piano lessons at the age of four and has a history of winning first prizes starting at the age of five.
The young artist has already performed at national and international piano recitals as a soloist and enjoys playing chamber music with other musicians as well playing four hands.
Konstantin has played not only in Germany but also in China, Russia, the UK, Spain and India. He played in the BBC concert hall in Cardiff and won three prizes at the “Somerset Festival“. In addition, Konstantin was awarded the medal as the best pianist of the event.
In his hometown Hamburg, Konstantin went to the grammar school „Johanneum“. He studied from July 2020 until 2022 two years at the boarding school Wells Cathedral School in the West of England. He has studied piano there with Professor Byrne and took conducting lessons with Professor Brink. Konstantin is currently taught by the Oxford Online School.
The outstanding pianist has already played at many Festivals such as “Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival“, the Finca-Festival "Frantz & Friends", the Festival “musik:landschaft westfalen“ and the “Mittelrhein Musik Festival“.
